Raptors and Morey Wildlife Reserve at Mariana Butte

This Redtail was huge! From a distance and before he opened his wings, I thought it was a Golden Eagle.

Had a peaceful hour or two to myself Saturday afternoon and hiked along the Morey Wildlife Reserve at Mariana Butte exploring the sights and sounds of winter.
